Glazing*: Fully dipped in oatmeal, then the rim was angle-dipped in tomato red at three different places.
This was a very early piece whose sides grew too thin to support themselves as I tried to make a flare.
I let them flatten out, and supported them with crumpled newsprint while they dried.
The middle portion of the bowl's wall is very thick, so I impressed it with a piece of stone that looks like petrified coral.
